Synopsis:

'Sailing Cita' tells the adventurous story of young Maine sailors Lauren Topchik and Teagan Tanner. Growing up on the coast of Maine, the girls found a love for the ocean and all the adventures it holds, from sailing to surfing and beyond. Inspired by their jobs at a local boatyard, Lauren and Tegan made the decision to pursue their uncommon dream of sailing around the world after college. This film delves into Lauren and Tegan as characters while they prepare on the coast of Maine for their voyage. Through the gift of their boat 'Cita' from a stranger, their undying passion for adventure, and desire to pursue an uncommon dream, the young Mainers hope to inspire other young people, particularly women, to follow their own adventurous paths no matter society's expectations.
