Director Bios:

Jade Begay is a multimedia artist, filmmaker, impact producer, and a communications strategist. Jade’s storytelling and narrative change work explores the intersections of Indigenous rights, representation, women's rights, migrant rights, and climate change. Jade has partnered with organizations like 350.org, Resource Media and the United Nations Foundation Universal Access Project, The Indigenous Environmental Network, Sierra Club, Bioneers, Indigenous Climate Action, and the Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network to develop strategies and storytelling campaigns to mobilize and create more engagement around the most urgent issues of our time. Currently, Jade is developing a VR/AR project in partnership with Google VR called, Blood Memory XR. 

James Q Martin (aka “Q”) is an acclaimed adventure photographer and award winning filmmaker whose work has been featured worldwide. Inquisitive, spirited and dedicated to regional and international conservation and social efforts, Q has since traveled extensively throughout the American Southwest and to 35 countries documenting the stories of world-class athletes, artists, conservationists, filmmakers and scientists who inspire him. By capturing their compassion for special places on film, he hopes to raise awareness for issues facing our communities worldwide, and to unite people taking steps to preserve and protect these places for future generations.
